I'd like to announce that a friend of mine and I just started a new DDL blog with blues & rock (glam, punk, progressive, kraut, jazz, rhythm'n'blues, psychedelic, etc...) related bootlegs. Most of these records are from the 70's, 80's and 90's and in good quality. Enjoy it!

Ornette Coleman, The Jazz Masters
Info from this web page:
November, 1965, Paris
Ornette Coleman (as, (tp) and violin)
Dave Izenzon (b)
Charles Moffett (dr)
This two-LP set contains the soundtrack Ornette Coleman and his trio contributed for the obscure Belgian film of the same name (Who's Crazy). Coleman (switching between alto, trumpet and violin), bassist Dave Izenzon and drummer Charles Moffett did not merely provide filler music but full-blown improvisations that stand very much on their own. Fans of Coleman's very explorative music are advised to search for this valuable two-fer.

Info from wikipedia.org:
Noah Howard (born April 6, 1943) is an American free jazz alto saxophonist.
Born in New Orleans, Howard played music since childhood in his church, first learning trumpet and later switching to alto sax. He recorded two sessions as a leader in 1966 for ESP Records, but found little critical acclaim in America, and moved to Europe soon after. In 1969 he appeared on Frank Wright's album One For John, and as leader recorded The Black Ark with Arthur Doyle. In 1971 he recorded Patterns with Misha Mengelberg and Han Bennink. He moved to Paris in 1972 and to Brussels in 1982. He recorded steadily through the 1970s and 1980s, exploring funk in the latter decade and recording for his own label, AltSax. In the 1990s he returned to free jazz, releasing on Cadence Jazz among others, and experienced a resurgence in critical acclaim.
